I asked for nice smiles, but all they would give me was 'cheese'.

Saturday, February 27, 2010

While Mummy was away it seems there were two cheeky monkeys sleeping in her bed!

Friday, February 26, 2010

Annabelle bowling to Callum. They both love to play cricket and soccer in the backyard.

Thursday, February 25, 2010

My scrapbooking gear all packed up ready to head away for the weekend.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010

Hair cut time for me. This is the 'before' shot. I didn't have time to stop for an 'after' shot!

Tuesday, February 23, 2010

Homemade chicken and mushroom pie using Rebecca's recipe. Delicious!

Monday, February 22, 2010

I walked into the craft room this afternoon to discover Annabelle had located the box of paper scraps and a glue stick and was having a great time creating. It was good to see.

Sunday, February 21, 2010

Callum loves to win. And this game he won convincingly.

Saturday, February 20, 2010

A perfect day for catching up on lots of washing.

Friday, February 19, 2010

Annabelle refuses to have a day sleep at home, but every afternoon this week she fell asleep in the pram on the way to pick up Callum from school.

Thursday, February 18, 2010

I finally found time to put up the vinyl wall stickers I bought for Callum's room. Three super cute robots and their spaceship.

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

The back of the car loaded up with all the junk I found in the garage. Off to the tip I went.

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Annabelle and I have headcolds. :(

Monday, February 15, 2010

Some of the parcels I posted today - selling off scrapbooking supplies that I no longer need.

Sunday, February 14, 2010

Annabelle made this card with no assistance from me. She can use a gluestick with ease and knows exactly where she wants to place things.

Saturday, February 13, 2010

Annabelle was so happy with the new easel we gave her that she started drawing with both hands!

Friday, February 12, 2010

Doing craft can be a dangerous business, so always wear the appropriate head gear!

Thursday, February 11, 2010

This is the pose of a cricketer who has just taken a 'KFC Classic Catch'. Or so I'm told!

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Homemade beef and lentil lasagne. Yum!

Tuesday, February 9, 2010

Annabelle and her best friend Nathaniel. Not the best photo, but these two don't hold still for long!

Monday, February 8, 2010

It might look like just a photo of our Angelcare baby monitoring system, which it is, but for me it also holds a deeper meaning. Today I used this photo while I listed Annabelle's cot, changetable and monitor for sale on Ebay. It's a clear sign that we really are waving goodbye to the baby years.

Sunday, February 7, 2010

Callum saw some marketing on TV yesterday for McDonalds "Happy Meals" and asked if he could have one. We said no and explained why. Tonight we made him a healthier version with a homemade pattie (containing grated vegies), real cheese (not that plastic stuff!), a nicer bread roll and oven baked chips. It still made him happy. :)

Saturday, February 6, 2010

Annabelle enjoying a babycino while out for afternoon tea with Mum and Dad.

Friday, February 5, 2010

Ten years ago Feb 5th was the hottest day of the summer. This year it poured rain.

Thursday, February 4, 2010

They told me at daycare last year that Annabelle was quite the little mother and we've really started seeing that at home now too. Baby is getting fed while Louise (the cabbage patch doll) sits in the stroller waiting patiently to be taken for high speed rides up and down the hallway. And further back there is someone (probably Lola) asleep in the little bed.

Wednesday, February 3, 2010

Today marks my return to being a regular blood donor. I haven't donated since I was just pregnant with Annabelle so it has been way too long. My next appointment is already booked in.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010

I put on some music this morning and Annabelle grabbed herself a dance partner and took to the floor.

Monday, February 1, 2010

Callum on his third day of year one.
