It might look like just a photo of our Angelcare baby monitoring system, which it is, but for me it also holds a deeper meaning. Today I used this photo while I listed Annabelle's cot, changetable and monitor for sale on Ebay. It's a clear sign that we really are waving goodbye to the baby years.

Callum saw some marketing on TV yesterday for McDonalds "Happy Meals" and asked if he could have one. We said no and explained why. Tonight we made him a healthier version with a homemade pattie (containing grated vegies), real cheese (not that plastic stuff!), a nicer bread roll and oven baked chips. It still made him happy. :)

They told me at daycare last year that Annabelle was quite the little mother and we've really started seeing that at home now too. Baby is getting fed while Louise (the cabbage patch doll) sits in the stroller waiting patiently to be taken for high speed rides up and down the hallway. And further back there is someone (probably Lola) asleep in the little bed.
